When you have surgery your bowels shut down. It usually takes a few days for them to start to move again. First you have gas, then more gas and then finally poop. If it is going in the one end it WILL eventually come out the other. Don't worry so much about the poop or even the eating. The surgery makes you lose your appetite as well. Tatum was under for quite a long while so that will also affect they way she is eating, sleeping and of course pooping. She might also have an upset tummy from the surgery too. You can give her vanilla yogurt to help an upset tummy and it is also yummy too.

To get her back on track with kibble start to mix the chicken into her kibble a little more with each meal. To make is a little more appealing mix a little gravy and warm water onto it. The water will also add to her fluid intake and help with the pooping. You can also sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on top. This is how I got Truman to eat when I first brought him home. Otherwise you are going to have such a spoiled baby she will never want to go back.

You are taking great care of your little princess. You are such a good mommy to both your babies.
