Ok guys....I was waiting for someone to say something about the blankets, LOL

Actually, they do not go up near as high as the picture makes them look, I promise

I know by looking at the picture it looks like she is laying on a
mattress of blankets lol...but they really do not all sit up that high at all - the picture just makes it look that way. Her surgeon actually saw the way I had her little "house" set up - blankets and all, and he ok'd it and said that it was just fine

But I do thank you all so much for your care and concern about her...that is just so sweet

He actually told me that I could even put a bed in there for her, but I myself thought that a bed being in there as well as the blankets WOULD be too much. Not to mention, a bed does sit up higher...so I think there could end up being an issue with that. As far as her walking in there goes, well....she doesn't, lol. The only thing she does in her little house is sleep, eat (I hand feed her in there) and drink her water. She does not get up and walk around in there at all. Any time she comes out of the house, we physically pick her up and take her out...she does not walk out on her own. If she has to go potty, she whines and we let her outside....on a leash AT ALL TIMES. She cannot be out of her house without being a leash - EVER. Even if we are sitting on the couch holding her in our laps, she must be leashed, just incase she would fall....that way we can immediately pull the leash and get her before she would hit anything. Her surgeon is absolutely wonderful and gave me very specific instructions as to what to do and what not to do, and we have been following them to a T

I think that if we keep doing things the way we have been doing them, *hopefully* everything will be just fine. We are kind of in a "routine" now. I am keeping my fingers crossed and am praying as well. Oh and thank you to the poster that told me about the scarf tip

Her surgeon did say that she would probably have a hard time getting in the position to poop (I figured this as it took her a little while to figure out how to stand/squat to pee) - but he never mentioned anything about putting anything under her stomach to try and support her....but I will definitely ask him about this

Thanks again everyone and big hugs to you all...YT'ers are the best!
