I had to keep my first Yorkie in a puppy cut for all of his 13 years. He had a thick cottony coat that would mat very easily. He looked real cute in the puppy cut. He was a teapot with short little legs, stocky solid body, Teddy bear face with cute little ears. Piper does not look good in a puppy cut. She has silky hair that doesn't really mat, tiny boned, longish legs, petite little face and ears. In a puppy cut she looks naked and real leggy. She looks best in longer hair.
