Several months ago I posted on another thread about my darling Cara who was dx'd with hydrochelphus back in Aug 08. She did so well on the experimental Rx she was on. For over 6 months she continued to amaze us all--Vets included. She even got to celebrate her 4th birthday in Nov. Sadly on Sunday Feb 22 it was all over very quickly. She developed breathing problems late in the day and I rushed her to the ER. Long story short she was gone at 11 that evening, due to congestive heart failure. We knew we were on limited time with her but you are still never prepared. Thank you to those from this forum who wrote and asked about Cara and were concerned with her progress. Cara is gone from my arms but she will live on in my heart.
