Dawn detergent can dry skin/hair, but it's not to be used on a regular basis, it is only when you want to treat an existing problem, you soap their body, let it seat for 5 min.and rinse, followed by your usual conditioner.Recently a member mentioned that instead of Dawn you could use Pert shampoo.
