My Roxie is almost 10 months and barking is not a major problem, but she knows what I mean when I say " Quiet" at night. In her training class the instructor told us to use a spray bottle water to teach them "No Bark", but of course Roxie just loves the water so that was no help at all. The instructor's other suggestion was to put some coins in a can and shake it when they bark while telling them "No Bark". I know Roxie does not like the noise and will be quiet after that. You just have to be consistent. I am sure there are others who can offer advice also. Hope that helps.
