i fly with mine all the time gracie is 2.10lbs and mikey is 3lbs they both go in the same kennel under the seat and they do just great .i guess it all depends on what airline .it was 40.00 for each one to fly aircanada and westjet hope that helps.i wouldnt want to be with out mine for that long
