I have never heard of yorkies being more expensive being gold and black When I got my first yorkie (Sadie) I saw her when she was 5 weeks old...she looked exactly like an extremely small rottie!! funny thing was...this breeder also bred Rotties!! She never change color...as you can see in my avatar she stayed black and gold. When I got Lillie (same breeder...different parents) she was very fluffy and was black/silver mingled...she ended up being silver and tan. I actually paid 300.00 more for Lillie than I did Sadie...it had nothing to do with the coloring. had to do with demand of the breed.
