My daughter has mega foot problems - wears orthotics everyday and her feet are very wide. She has started working out at the gym and her feet were hurting so she went to the local (not chair) athletic shoe store. They put her in a men's tenny and she says it is the best shoe she's ever worn. They said most women with wide feet should probably be wearing a men's shoe because a men's regular width is just slightly wider than a women's wide.
