Did he just do a blood chemistry panel or did he actually do a bile acid test? With a BAT you take a premeal blood draw and then feed and two hours later take a postmeal blood draw. Sometimes a blood chem panel will be normal with a liver shunt but the BAT will be high.

You may need to have her referred to a neurologist
