Just thought it was time for a Truman update!

Truman is doing great! We went to the vet today because he has 2 spots on he chest that the vet removed warts from that did not heal properly. The hair grew over the area and did not allow it to heal properly and I didn't realize until I was giving Truman a bath last night. The warm water loosened up his matted hair and the skin under the said was very inflamed. Poor Truman, I held him while the vet shaved his chest and he moaned very loadly. It was the saddest thing I have ever heard.

I know he wasn't in any pain but he was not happy. Then he pooped on the exam table halfway through out ordeal.

But the vet did say that he looked really good! He's gained 3 lbs, his coat is shiny and he looks healthy! He still needs about another 3 or 4 lbs but he is now officially 12.97 lbs! We got a topical and oral antibiotic that he will need to take for 10 days to help with the healing. The anal gland ademona has gone down considerably since his neuter~just one more reason to neuter your pets! I am going to try to catch a few pictures this weekend of Truman in the yard now that the grass is getting green.
