Embarassed My Mistake

I'm sorry, bchgirl you are absolutely correct. My dh & I realize after the initial contact that they were indeed brokers . We had NEVER dealt with that type of situation before (now we are wiser ) I should have posted at the time that I posed the question. The two sites as well as two individuals (?) that contacted us after viewing our ad on AKC gave us $%@* about not being willing to ship. When we told them that we not only did not ship, but would not relinquish any of our babies prior to an approved application with 4 references and a meeting face to face; needless to say I still have all my babies and they may end up growing old with us . As I had said in an earlier thread, we DO NOT make a living on our babies....far from it. But in the face of this hard economic time, I would not want to offend any one who might have to use a brokerage service in order to pay their bills . My question was posed as to make sure that dh & I were not being unrealistic in wanting to meet prospective parents. As I said earlier, we project human emotions to our furkids, just trying to make sure we weren't nuts . By seeing the answers, we are not alone.
