I dont like it either...it really bothers me. I was walking Kelsey one afternoon and another dog a Welsh Corgi?, I dont know..some weird looking dog, came running up to Kelsey and was barking and showing it's teeth like it was going to bite her!
I grabbed the dogs collar and held it back and let kelsey run away a little on her leash. About a minute later here comes the owner in a frantic...saying sorry. I said "it's ok, but next time make sure you know where your dog is, it could've really hurt my dog". GRRRRRRRRr.....i could've even got bit by this dumb dog! But that was a risk I was willing to take to protect my baby. She was so scared from being walked in that area for about a month, but she's fine now.
