a GREAT Canadian brand are Muttlucks (a play on mucklucks- the native boots) they are very very well made- Layla had a pair but never wore them so we sold them- but if we needed a pair again- that is what i would get. They aren't "pretty" but id ont' think you'll find a better quality boot- plus i love supporting Canadian companies
