Tongues are very vascular and will bleed a lot so I am sure it looks much work than it really seems. Take a deep breath and do like they do with kids when they bite a their tongue and give his a little ice to see if that helps.
If he continues to bleed a lot I would take him into the vet to be seen. Poor baby.
