Kong's are great play-by-youself toys for pup's!
Peanut butter is okay for dog's----it's not a nut, it's a pea.
But Nut's are bad!
When you put the treats inside the kong, you have to push them as far down as possible, then squeeze the sides so they break up a bit, then you can add more. There should be nothing sticking out of the hole, for that defeats the purpose!
Kong's are great for Mental Excercises. And to occupy them if they have to be alone for a little while.
It is okay to freeze them; especially if your leaving for a few hours. Freeze it the night before, then give it to them right before you leave.
You can use peanut butter for this, or Kong cheese. It comes in a can and you just squirt it in the Kong.
