Think of all the lost puppies that would come home-Pinky, Yoshi, Reese.
It's not actually a GPS type. The one reason I can tell you is that the gps ones aren't as sensitive. The ones dh has, have been known to track dogs that have gotten stuck underground in drainage tiles etc. He makes them as small as for dogs, falcons, turtles, snakes, fish, pretty much anything. He can tell you some stories of some situations in which animals have been found or tracked. It's pretty difficult to make them like a chip that you can implant under the skin due to batteries. He has made them for small dogs and they can be made so they're un-noticable and at least in the situation of a dog napping it will still give you some time to track them down. I will have some more information put together in more proffesional terms so that it's easier to understand. Plus I need to be a donating member here to persue. It's just that everytime I read about someone losing their dog it just tugs at my heart and I feel there is something out there that can help bring some of them home. I just know how I would feel if it were Roxie. I'd just die.
