I think it is on the package or package insert.
It says that giving it monthly is recommended but giving it every three months may be enough. Since it is very cold here for a few months a year and the house gets sprayed for bugs, I rarely have to give it. Right now I only give it if I need to though and then everything has to be washed, vacuumed, etc.
