Thanks for all your advice! I'm really trying to be more calm and ignore her behavior when she acts this way (so I don't encourage it). She doesn't have a problem following me around everywhere but I'm praising her when she comes to me a lot more. I"ll try taking her out more as well
Hopefully she gets less scared with time.
