No Jemma, you aren't reaching for straws. The vet thought the same thing and thats why he had him on foods that would hopefully give him diarrhea (ex. Can foods, adult dog food, people food). It DID make it soft but did not make a difference in the sounds

As for today, He had 2 BMs and yelped ONE time with each of them. Kind of how a kid, or us even, would yelp if we had hemmoroids or something. It was just a quick OUCH kind of yelp and he got the job done with no crying.


He is acting like a new puppy since early yesterday afternoon. He just acts like he feels SOOO much better. I have him back on the Iams Can food and Science diet kibble. The vet wants him on both so that no matter what he is in the mood for, he will eat.

I have a free sample of Wellness puppy on the way (I hope) in the mail and if he eats that then we will be switching him to that puppy food to see how his system handles it.

I KNOW that a natural diet is what he needs. He needs less chemicals, less BMs, and less unwanted stuff in other foods.
