I don't think it's a vaccination at all. It's probably for a stool sample analysis or heart worm test?. The 1 yr means the vet is suggesting another sample for 1 year. I personally think that's going overboard, if the pet has on heartworm medication. I think this test is necessary before putting a pet on a worm regimen.
