My male weighed 4lbs 14 oz at eight months when he was neutered. Now at 12 months he weighs 6.2#, so a gain of 1.5# since he was eight months old. He gained 2# after he was six months old. He is a chow hound.
I hope he doesn't get any bigger but he possibly will since he loves to eat and is ALWAYS hungry! His breeder said he should top out at 5# but he's bigger than that, bigger than both his parents too.
