Surgeon just called Brooke about 1/2 hr. ago (Sorry was at Lowes, couldn't update) and said Tat was out of surgery and doing well. He didnt sound too confident about her left leg. Said that her ligament are so tiny that even the slightest pull could very easily cause it to come undone again. The Right leg went very well and thinks it will be fine, but the left leg is the one that was very very bad he said. Brooke said she knew that one was the worst cause it was the one Tat would always hold up off the ground when she ran and will always limp on it 24/7. He told her to ck back in at 10:00 tomorrow morning. She was given extra instruction to be extra extra careful and strict or else that left leg could have to be redone. She is soooooooooo worried about the recovery now. Tat might get to come home tomorrow depending on how she does tonight.
I'm sure the recovery time will be very stressful for all of them. Brooke thanks everyone for their prayer!!!! |
Thanks for the update, I so glad she's out of surgery, at least that part is over. Hope all goes well tonight, I know they are anxious to get home. Linda's idea of a stroller sounds like a great one.
