 Shipping
How many breeders refuse to ship? My dh & I have received some flack about not shipping. We prefer to hand deliver after at least meeting prospective "parents". Have many of you received the same reception from other sites to post/list? We have also found many brokers that don't seem to give a *&^@ about where our babies go...in fact, telling us that shipping is required as they have customers world wide. Well, knowing a little bit about overseas quarantine (up to 6mo in some countries) in many countries raises my eyebrows. I guess what I am asking is do you, ship. If so, how do you wrap your brain around the fact that they (the babies) are being placed in a case/kennel and sent away on a plane, train, bus, ect... I am not looking to be critical, I'm trying to understand how to handle such demands. We are really bad about attaching human emotions to animals, so we don't know if this is the way it is or that we are being over-sensitive.
