I'm hoping and praying that the yelping will stop forever...but still take him to the GI specialist anyway. He must eat frequent small meals to keep his sugar up...and always eat something before going to bed. When you said a barium test...did you mean a colon x-ray or an upper GI? I am assuming it's a barium colon x-ray, where they force barium in through the rectum, as opposed to through the mouth for an upper GI. I would imagine that they would have to keep him over night for the prep, as he will have to be fasting and the bowels empty. This may be dangerous for you to do at home, because of the risk of low blood sugar. Sure do wish him well...the specialist will know how to handle such a tiny little guy.
