We put ours in ourselves too, in the living room, hall and bedroom. My husband and sil did it over a weekend, but they worked 12 hour days to get it done. It was pre-glued. It fit together, but had to be "tapped" into place. Once in place though, the glue stuck and it was done. The hard part was cutting odd sized pieces. My husband was a carpenter, so he knew how to measure and cut appropriately. Still, it was a lot of work, but saved us about 1/2 the cost. Installation can be almost expensive as the material.

This was the last big project my husband completed before he developed heart failure. Shortly afterward, he had to retire. He still takes so much pride in that wood floor.
