I would change her kibble as well. They are not ranked very high in nutritional quality. Also, snacks are not such a bad thing. It just depends on what kind of snacks you are feeding her. Chicken strips, or sweet potatoe crunchies, little pieces of apple or cheese. There are a lot of healthy choices out there that are probably already in your kitchen. Take a look at the "Homecooked" thread, I believe it is in the "Health" forum. This will give you plenty of great ideas that you can make yourself, and are easy to make. The important thing to remember is that these little guys are high maintenance. Research the food threads here. Give them high quality nutrition, and they will remain healthy and happy. Good luck |
