I'd do the Protein C test myself that will completely rule out shunt. Post numbers under 100 are usually not a shunt but a Protein C test will for sure rule out shunt and it's less invasive as a liver bioposy or a stignigraphy (sp). I'd want to rule out shunt first with the Protein C test and then go from there...of course this is what I would do
