You can try what i did when i was training Morgan not to chew in the house. it might work with outside stuff too. When morgan was little i boobie trapped her with little papers and stuff sprayed with bitter apple. she always used to grab stuff up that fell on the floor and chew it up. so a few boobie trapped items later, no more chewing up little things. it might work with sticks and acorns outside too. worth a shot
