Hopefully we will have an answer soon, because I worry about the exact same thing! Simon is almost 14 weeks old and is so very "oral" just like a baby should be, but it makes me crazy! He will pick up and chew anything that lets him. My question to add to yours is, at what age do they tend to stop wanting to mouth/eat everything? He can't walk by a flower, twig, acorn etc. without a taste when he's outside. HE LOVES being outdoors and with the weather here in VA trying to get warmer, I'd like him to enjoy grass vs. concrete! LOL...
