I'm glad to hear that Hot Rod is doing better today, though i did cringe when you said you bathed him. He shouldn't be bathed until his sutures are removed or dissolve. yes that makes a smelly dog but you can use baby wipes or dry shampoo. there is too great a risk for slippage in the tub and a greater chance of infection. |
No, I didn't bathe him. He was in his crate and cleaning himself. I stayed up and watched over him to make sure that he was not licking his stitiches. Poor baby just wanted to get the smell of the hospital off of himself. It is a nauseating smell, not alcholol but something else.
