No, my door is in the living room and the dining room is a couple of rooms away. Our maintenance comes in alot when we aren't here. We also have pest control and things like that dones at least once a month. Sometimes they let us know in advance, but others not. This is going to sound really weird, but I have a cockatiel and I can always tell when they have been in because when I get home he spends about an hour tweeting at me to tell me all about it.
So I know for a fact that they sometimes come in and forget to mention it. Do x-pens have tops? I guess I am worried that the puppy would be able to climb the gate. My aunt had a fox terrier when I was a kid that would climb the fence in their yard and we are talking 3 or 4 feet tall.
