If you have dogs who have lots of accidents the liquid will seep into the cracks and smell. We ended up having vinyl installed. Almost the whole room is one continous sheet so no seams for urine to leak into. I do have 5 dogs and 2 are elderly. One of them is blind and sometimes can't find her way to the pee pad or to the door to get out. It may not be as pretty but have saved me a world of clean up problems |
