Everyone at my job thinks I'm crazy for caring enough to be a foster mom and volunteering for a rescue. But let me add that I'm the only female & the oldest that works here. Not only do they think I'm crazy at my job but my in-laws think I am too. But great news....I don't really care what they think. If my job were to lay me off today...I would probably never hear from them again and I have a great relationship with them all. And my in-laws...I do a whole lot of things that they don't agree with or like. But my animals will be there no matter what happens. And yes, they are my family too!!
Because they think I'm crazy doesn't keep me from telling them about my babies or one that I'm fostering or off to rescue. I even tell them that I'm taking a day of vacation to take one to get spayed or neutered. No telling what they say when I leave but who cares....I love what I do and I love my furbabies!!!
