The surgeon we chose is about three hours away. We have to be there by ten and will have a consultation. Then he will get his surgery. He actually gets to come home that night, which I can't be more happy about. I know I can take care of him much better than anyone else can.
Since it's a strong possibility he will have to have both legs done, I made an appointment with a groomer for Friday afternoon to get his little body cut short. I would rather it all be close in length and all grow back together. <sob>

oh Amanda- i'm in tears for you- my stomach dropped when you said.. next tuesday- but you know what- better to just get it over with instead of having weeks to worry about it- this is better for Ranger too- he is going to sense you are upset and its best that the date arrives sooner than later. It is great you get to take him home that night! it would be so hard to leave him over night. Please keep us posted- i'll be thinking of you and sweet Ranger!
