Some puppies do lose weight the first twenty four hours then they take off. But that seems to be a lot of weight lost. When it is nursing, make sure the larger ones are not pushing it off the teat. Sometimes the smaller ones need a little help staying on because the others will root it off. If it is still losing next time, you will have to supplement. I ran that fading pup recipe across my vet and he did not like it at all so before you try that, try to supplement with puppy formula. BTW, Congratulations on your super nice litter.
