It might seem rather strange that a cat lover is posting here and hope you don't mind. I heard this story and it broke my heart. Have there been any updates whether that girl got Pinky back?

Unfortunately this kind of thing is happening all the time everywhere. It seems everyday when I go out I see a new flyer posted on poles of missing small dogs. Unfortunately, the reason isn't always that the pet was stolen to make a pet out of it, or to sell it to make money.

Many of you might have seen an ad from BEKIND.org and shows how many small dogs who are left unattended are stolen for dog fights as they are used for bait to train the dogs. I can't help wonder if this was the fate of any of the dogs I see listed on the flyer's I see all the time as well as that girl's dog Pinky. I've seen videos on youtube where surveillance cameras managed to catch these despicable people snatch dogs left in one's yard. What really goads me no end though, is how people will take their dog and then suddenly decide to go into a store to shop, tying up a dog to a traffic pole outside the store..What is with people? If a person knows they need to go shopping, why don't they leave the dog home instead of subjecting it to a possible fate as being stolen for dog fight use?

Honestly, that ticks me off no end and just can't understand people. If one truly loves their pet they would do everything possible to keep it safe. It's just a real strange and unfortunate incident though, that ironically the dog Pinky was taken during that burglary where no doubt the owners DID think the pet would be safe. All the more reason to really stop the whole dog fighting "business"

I really hope Pinky does get found for that girl...so please would love to hear any updates if your hear about this
