What I'm getting at by all of this is that the feelings you have right now are perfectly normal.

That being said, I imagine you are doing everything and more that you can do to protect her. I suggest a high pitched "Eeeeekk!" noise to really get her attention when you need her to stop what she is doing. That seems to work with my baby. (She'll probably turn to you and cock her head to one side as if to say "What they heck was that?") Other than that, just continue being the good mother I am sure you are already. After awhile, many of your fears will go away. Keep us updated on your new baby!
Thank you so much. You made me cry again and laugh reading this.

Good to know I'm supposed to be this messed up over this new baby that's my responsibility. I just feel so guilty when I leave her alone, or when I have to yell at her. I'm guilty that I like her better when she's relaxing with me than when she's playing, which is when she bites and does dangerous things. And I'm constantly guilty that I now spend no time with my cat, who is terrified of this little creature and hides upstairs all day.

Thank you for letting me rant and still thinking I'm a good mommy.
