Dogs aren't exactly carnivores though. Their eating habits are more like that of omnivores. They can do very well on vegetarian diets or fish or egg based diets. Just because you don't feed meat doesn't mean you are doing her a disservice. I personally wouldn't feed a vegan diet unless a health issue made it necessary. I do feed egg and fish based food though and that is just fine. You can also do cottage cheese if you homecook. |
