well i think it depends on the severity of the pancreatitis. Layla's not severe- so like i said to Izzy's Mom- Layla gets the 1%- which is 1.5 grams per 1/2 c. and Layla only gets 2 tsps a day- so when you do the math it is NOT very much fat at all- so i'm sure that is what your vet tech was getting at- but if your pup has been hospitalized with pancreatitis- i just wouldn't mess with any extra fat if you dont' have to- so then i would do low fat for Truffles (by the way- LOVE the name!)
