Late 50's is NOT too old to skate!!! you under estimate your self!!! it's a lot of fun. My parents (both late 50's) rollerblade with a bunch of people their age, and they have a great time!

On a side note I've been trying to slowly train genghis to walk/run with my bike, but it's scary when he sees something he wants and takes off (usually another dog) I've been thinking about getting little shoes for him since the weather is getting warmer and I don't want his feet to get too hot. He has soooo much energy! When I call him a yorkie I sometimes forget about the "terrier" part.
