One of the good things is that since this all really happened quickly and the dr had an opening, I didn't have too much time to think about it. That is-to ponder all the yuky stuff about it. I am just glad that is was this scenario as the way the dr explained it, there could be 3 different reasons as why lp happens. This was the way that seemed (to me at least) the least traumatic and most positive outcome. Now that he's home and on the mending side, I am glad we did it. Dr said that he will have have arthritis issues from this which I was really concerned about.
