I think MANY of us have had similiar experiences....but just remember NOT ALL groomers are BAD!!! You just need to either learn how to groom yourself...or keep searching until you find someone you can trust. I have cut my own baby Daizy...while grooming her...with the clippers...I had the 1" plastic guard on the clippers and she got CUT under her arm...she just flinched didn't even cry out...but OMG she was bleeding!!! The stinking clippers shaved a 1/2 inch spot under her arm!!! HOW IN THE WORLD is that even possible??? I felt absolutely horrible!!!! So sadly things do happen...even with the most careful of groomings!
I have now refused to groom her ever again!!! So now I have my own dilemma to solve too!!!
I sure Hope your baby is ok...and they do right by you..and pay up!!!
And very good idea to send your boyfriend!!! lol No way I could keep calm and professional either! |
Have to be really careful in the arm pit areas & by the back legs they have that same flap of skin...it can get caught in the comb. I avoid shaving there & just use scissors or make sure I'm stretching the skin. It must've been traumatizing for you!
