Gracie Ruth has cottony hair so it isn't 'fluffy' at all. She also has the added problem of being a very small framed dog. So if I cut her hair too short she looks like a bobble-head dog.
I do a modify puppy cut. Lisa cuts her body leaving her hair about 1" long. Her legs are left a little longer then 'normal' and I have her beard/mustache trimmed shorter, but leave her topknot and ear hair long.
