Yep, he needs his boosters at one year. I absolutely would separate them, giving a week or so in between. I would also pre-load with Benadryl prior to the appointment to minimize allergic reactions.

I just had Ranger's yearly rabies booster done. I felt awful, he's not been himself since and I HATE that, but I know it's necessary. Now that he's had his puppy shots and year-after boosters, I won't be vaccinating for several years.
