Well on last Wednesday, I noticed that Baylee threw up a yellow, clear substance. He plays regularly, runs, jumps, hides...everything else he normally does-even after this episode. Last night, I noticed that he vomited some of his food and then he ate it before I could stop him. So....This morning around 3 a.m. he wanted out of his bed, because he pooped in it, and it was a soft stool-not solid as it usually is. I immediately cleaned the area, cleaned all of his toys, and washed the plush ones. I did not put his food down for him, and only left the water. When I woke up this morning, he threw up again-yellow, clear substance. I've only left the water down-no food. I plan to go home on my lunch break and take him to the vet if this worsens. What are your suggestions? Any of your own, prior experiences similar to this one? PLEASE ADVISE...Thanks-Stan |
Hey Stan. Poor Baylee. You probably need to start your own thread to get a fair shot at replies
As for Baylee, I would say he needs to see a vet this afternoon. He is pretty small and these little guys can go downhill super fast. Go ahead and get him in and lets get this baby back to new.
I have had *lots* of experience with GI problems (unfortunately) and we actually were able to link Ranger's intolerance with an ingredient in his food. His problems started right around the same age as Baylee's, maybe a bit sooner. We were at the vet at least once a month for 5 or so months for these tummy troubles.
Good luck and PLEASE keep us updated.
