If I recall correctly Paula had just told Scott that sometime during the finals she would like to see him perform without the piano. Scott agreed and said that he planned on doing that with one of his future performances, if he continues on. If I were him I just would not worry about. I think if he feels comfortable behind the piano then he should do what he is doing. He is a nice guy but not one of my favorites.
I thought Matt's performance was awkward with him planning that keyboard and having all those people standing around him.
Kris has a nice voice but there is something about the facial expressions he uses while singing that turns me off. He just does not seem natural and relaxed when he sings, like he is struggling to reach certain notes.
