Thanks for the response. That's encouraging. She did call VPI. They stated that their fee schedule pays for 90 percent of whatever the national average for a particular procedure. We do live in the DC/Metro area which is always going to be more expesive than the national average of anything, but still. However, she also stated that she has the lowest level of insurance (she pays $15/month). However, I have the premium plan (with the cancer rider and preventative benefit) and have not been particularly encouraged at what I've been reimbursed for vet visits. Again, this could be the result of living in a very expensive area. I am going to get my policy out and take a closer look at the fee schedule.
