That is a negative action for their behavior and considered "old school" in dog training world. I'm sorry that you were turned down for a rescue but I would suggest that you read up a little more and ask some questions here in the training forum. There was just a very
heated thread last week about a man that was rubbing a little one's nose in his mistakes and boy did that get crazy
