I use to breed Golden Retrievers and their temp was such a positive guideline for me. My dam temp would drop to like 96. Not sure about Yorkies. But when they were getting close they had their temp taken in the AM and PM. I was mistaken in my previous post. Usually the temp drops quite a bit. They say you should always have a baseline temp on your furbaby. This way you can see the big drop when it happens. Like I said earlier, mine always whelped within 24 hours, give or take a few, once that big drop happened.
